You receive the Omni Tool at Ranger Outpost: Snackbar with its first Omni Axe function. Unlock other functions at a Ranger Station using materials and Raw Science. Functions replace separate gathering tools; a better axe does not automatically improve the hammer.

- Follow the introduction to the Snackbar outpost and collect the Omni Tool.
- Gather materials for the desired function and enough Raw Science.
- Open the Ranger Station and buy the corresponding tool upgrade.
- For a blocked resource, check required tool type and tier. Buy the preceding tier of the same function before higher ones.
Hammer and shovel open different gathering routes. The Wrench repairs damaged buildings and does not replace a better hammer tier. First identify the resource or task blocking you.
Why Older Recipe Lists May Differ
Patch 0.5.1 removes Infused Ooze and adjusts the tier-four axe recipe. Do not “solve” an old list by searching for a removed item. Current Ranger Station displays govern later tiers.
The tool has no normal durability and is used at the appropriate gathering node. Basic functions and initial costs differ from later cosmetic changes at the Glitter Bar. A new appearance does not unlock a missing gathering tier.
