Enshrouded 1.0 on October 15: Nine Spells and a Skill Reset Change Mages

Keen announces summonable totems, skeletons and improved wand attacks. Existing characters must reassign talent points after updating.

Enshrouded: official scene from the Steam product gallery

Enshrouded is planned to leave Early Access on October 15. Keen previews combat changes: nine spells expand mages with control effects, area damage and summons. They include Entangle, Mana Drain, Blizzard, Ball Lightning, three elemental totems and a Hollow Skeleton.

Existing spells gain further tiers. Keen lists twenty-two tier-seven Eternal versions that consume no spell ammunition. New perks can upgrade them, for example reducing mana costs. Ammunition and mana are different resources: Eternal does not mean casting is free in every respect.

Wands, Combinations and New Limits

Wands gain a heavy attack that pierces enemies and can interrupt weaker ones. Aerial Wand Attack and Wand Evasion Attack add movement options. After a critical wand hit, Blast and Cast increases the next staff attack’s base damage within ten seconds by fifty percent.

Advanced Necromancy and Totem Mastery increase possible summons. Archers also receive talents and upgradeable Eternal arrows. Several announced percentages still have placeholders in the preview; assess exact final values from the released update.

The new maximum player level is fifty, with equipment reaching fifty-five. Changed positions and abilities require a talent-tree reset. Keen explicitly warns against leaving your base without redistributing points.

Until release, these remain announced changes. A current Early Access character does not already possess every new option. Record the existing build and select actual talents again after updating.
