Enshrouded 1.0 Changelog Reveals New Region and Sparkworks Ahead of Planned October 15 Launch

Enshrouded’s 1.0 trailer and changelog are out ahead of the planned October 15 release. The update is set to add Cinder’s Cradle, Sparkworks and new progression, while players using an existing save face a skill reset when they first play it in version 1.0.

Enshrouded: Character Facing a Floating Creature Above Lava

Enshrouded’s release trailer and full 1.0 changelog arrived on October 14, ahead of its planned October 15 exit from Early Access on Steam. The changelog details a new northern region, higher level caps and Sparkworks, a logic system for interactive builds. These are announced 1.0 changes; the announcement does not say the update is available yet.

Cinder’s Cradle Extends the Map

The changelog places Cinder’s Cradle beyond Veilwater Basin. Its lower area contains lava-covered ruins, while floating islands sit above them. The new region also brings another progression tier: the announced caps are level 50 for players and level 55 for fully upgraded equipment.

Sparkworks Adds Logic to Base Building

Sparkworks is set to let builders connect interactive elements in a base and define how they respond. The changelog describes craftable tools and props alongside a 2D graph editor for configuring and viewing connections. It gives builders a way to design interactions within their worlds, though the supplied changelog does not establish how complex those creations can become in practice.

What Returning Players Should Check

If you open an existing save in 1.0, the changelog says your skill tree will reset, so you will need to spend your points again. Custom key bindings are also set to return to their defaults; check your controls before heading out. For saves created in version 0.8 or earlier, the changelog says the first 1.0 load will back up the existing data and migrate it to the new format.
